Unique LED Lighting Ideas

Here's a unique LED lighting idea. Designed by Rob Slewe, these flowerpots are lit up with LED lights and can be placed indoors or outdoors.

They are large but lightweight. Indoors, they could serve as a side table or coffee table with a plate of glass placed on top. They make a great lighting accessory by your pathway, swimming pool or pond.

They come in several different colors including red, lime, purple and turquoise. The LED lighting is encased in double-walled molding and comes with a 15' cord.

They are called 'Bloom! Pots and retail for $295. Check them out at crib(fx).

Unique Christmas Lights

It doesn't get much more unique and leading-edge as far as Christmas lighting options go. This poinsettia comes equipped with fiber optic lights!

It's a sixteen inch 'Ice Bavarian Fiber Optic Red Poinsettia Christmas Bush'by the National Tree Company This original Christmas decoration is also availale in the white flower version.

I expect we'll be seeing more fiber optic Christmas light decorations in the near future, but this is the first one I've seen. It would be the talk of the party I would think .

Paper Table Lamps

One of the most elegant paper table lamps I've seen is the one shown here. The brand name is 'Orgel' and it is available at IKEA stores.

The shade is made of paper and the table lamp base is steel in clear lacquer

It is six inches in width and 22 inches tall. It gives off a beautiful soft mood light. Despite the shade being made of paper it is guaranteed to be highly safe electrically.

It's also very inexpensive, you can pick one up for under $20.

Christmas Lights - Indoor Stars for Window Decoration

These indoor Christmas lights have been available at IKEA stores for a couple of years now. The brand name is Glansa and they are called Glansa hanging lights.

They are really pretty, very popular and always sell out. This image here doesn't really do them justice. The stars come in three different colors, white, red or yellow. You need two sets for a large window as they are about 40 inches across and hang down 63 inches. These Christmas lights are for indoor use only.

Unfortunately you can't buy them online. You have to visit one of the IKEA stores. I notice some people are reselling them on eBay though. Here's another photo that slightly better demonstrates how these lights look in the window.
