Torchiere Table Lamp

Here's a unique type of table lamp. It's a torchiere table lamp available at Restoration Hardware.

The Beaux Arts Table Torchiere Lamp is inspired by the Art Nouveau of the early 1900's. It is styled with hand-rubbed antiqued finished and a seeded glass reflector. It has a burnished bronze finish, a high/low switch and the shade is five inches in diameter at the top.

Ikea Children's Lighting

Ikea has an innovative and fun selection of children's lighting options. The pendant lamp shown here is called the 'blimp'. It creates a fun pattern of moons, stars and planets in your children's room and was designed by Anna Efverlund. It uses a halogen bulb which is included. The pendant is 27 centimeters in diameter.

Modern Glass Table Lamp

This is a beautiful idea for lighting. It's one of the most original and beautiful table lamps I've seen and will definitely grab anyone's attention regardless of what else may be in your room.

It's called the Sphere Table Lamp and is designed by Marco Agnoli. It's on sale now at Nova68 Modern Design for $2,000. There are twelve handblown Italian glass balls surrounding seven clear light bulbs in the center. The lamp is available with a square or round base and there is also a matching floor lamp available. The lamp is about 28 inches high and comes with a dimmer switch.
