Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs Are Funky

The compact fluorescent bulb will fit into the same fixture wherever you use a regular bulb. However, they use about 1/3 of the electricity of an ordinary bulb. Your electricity bill will be 50 cents to 75 cents less each month for each regular bulb you replace with the CFL's.
Some people say that CFLs have a harsh, cold light quality. But this is becoming less of an issue now. Warmer colors have been developed and the gap in the difference is narrowing. Look for a color temperature of 2,700-3,000K on the package for a warmer white light.
